More than a year ago, a McKinsey alumni took a much anticipated holiday with their family pet. While Lonavala in the rains was as breathtaking as they'd hoped, when they returned home they weren't completely satisfied with the experience.
Why? They spent the entire week wishing they had more privacy in the pool area, open space to spread out, or to accommodate extended family and friends, kitchen access to prepare snacks and meals for the kids and garner a personalized experience.
Ultimately, they decided to create a simple webpage showcasing a few villas near the city for personal friends. At the time, it was a small operation working out of a bedroom. 
And the path to grow was unclear. 
The answer was a JV initiative that gave wings to The Weekend Plan, when Co-Founders Forecast Group shared this vision and aligned the company with the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group.
And then, The Weekend Plan became so much more.
It is now all about creating a simpler way for families to vacation together.
