FERRY SERVICES ARE OPERATIONAL
Alibaug can be reached quite quickly by private boat or ferry from the Gateway of India, in south Mumbai's Colaba area. The journey takes around 45 minutes to get to Mandawa Jetty. From there, the beach is another 30-45 minutes away by bus or auto rickshaw. Ferries to Alibaug operate from morning until evening (around 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) throughout the year, except during the monsoon season from June to August. From Mandwa jetty following ferry operators take you in the by bus up to Zirad, Alibaug as a complimentary free service. More info on operators below (E&OE):
Take A Speed Boat
For a pretty little packet, you can skip the Maldar and PNP ferry boats to take a ten-minute zip across the sea to Mandwa jetty. Ocean Blue charters speedboats for large and small groups travelling to and fro Alibaug.
